For my Honors 150 final we had to carve a metaphor of the class in soap and surprise, surprise, I carved a camera.
I think its a pretty fitting metaphor though, a camera changes my perspective just like the class did. I found out I like writing, i was exposed to a million points of view through the billion readings we had to do...
Perspective is a interesting thing; it goes very well with the proverb about living in another persons shoes. Its amazing that everyone can have a totally different perspective than everyone else. Something fun I like to do with pictures is put myself in the photographers shoes; I wonder where he or she stood when they took the picture and what they were thinking. I like to pretend I'm the subject as well, for instance; I wonder what this guitar was thinking...
I think the guitar is waiting,
